On May 08, just three days ahead of the Parliamentary elections, the first plane will land in the new airport of Vlora.

The news was made public this Sunday during the signing procedure of the agreement between Albania and Israel on Aviation Academy.

Premier, Edi Rama considered the agreement an important step to support the civil aviation. 

“I am confident that this agreement signed today will give us in the next 4-5 years the opportunity to be proud of being here today. We are in a process of discussions in several directions, but the essence is to reborn our defense industry and our military production industry. We are optimistic, we have the right partners and allies who are leaders in this field, not only Israel, but also the US and other EU countries and Turkey, which is our strategic ally.” said Rama.
