Erdogan's Call after Meeting Albin Kurti

President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has reacted regarding the situation created in the North of Kosovo.

Through a post on Twitter, Erdogan wrote that he met with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, where he emphasized that progress in the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia is the only way for long-term peace and stability in the region.

According to the Turkish presidency, Erdogan emphasized that Turkey is ready to contribute to the dialogue process.

Turkey thus joins the reactions from Western countries that called for a return to the Brussels dialogue and calming the situation in three municipalities in the north of Kosovo, in Leposaviq, Zubin Potok and Zveçan.

Kurti blamed what he called "fascist gangs" led by the Government of Serbia for the violence in the north
