EU's Czech Headship Supports Kosovo's Visa Liberation

Czech Presidency of the European Union announced through a press statement on Thursday that the working group in the Council of the EU supports the liberalization of visas for Kosovo, after holding the first discussion on the issue. 

According to this statement, the European Commission presented its update regarding the technical report on this topic, which reconfirms that Kosovo continues to fulfill the visa liberalization criteria. 

Furthermore, the Czech leadership stressed that the working group of the Council of the European Union broadly welcomed the reopening of the discussion on this topic and generally supported the visa liberalization process. 

But the Czech presidency made it clear that in order to progress in this framework, it will be necessary to clarify a number of topics related to visa liberalization and to continue the discussion.
