Bailiff Fatos Alimadhi, brother of the parliamentary opposition Former MP, Adriatik Alimadhi has been handcuffed Friday on the criminal charge of "Abuse of Duty".

Albaniandailynews.com has learned that a citizen took a loan on behalf of an entity, and after some time passed away.

At the moment that the person in question dies, the loan is supposed to be covered by life insurance, but this bailiff blocked the accounts of the relatives of the deceased, without even notifying them.

Furthermore, in the framework of this operation, S. D. and P. Q., with private enforcement duties, were prosecuted for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", but they were not put in prison.

After the arrest, the materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further procedural actions.

“Specialists of the Sector for Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in DVP Tirana, in cooperation with the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance Tirana, successfully organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Account", as a result of which the citizen was detained: F. A., 54 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty".

From the investigative actions it has resulted that the citizen F. A., during the exercise of the function as private bailiff, abusing his duty, has signed documents and sequestration decisions for blocking the current accounts of a private entity, without notifying this entity.

Also, in the framework of this operation, the citizens S. D. and P. Q., with private executive duty, were prosecuted at large for the criminal offense ‘Abuse of duty’”, said the police.
