This Tuesday's murder in Elbasan seems to be a saga started a few years ago, the local media report. Everest Caka or otherwise known as Ibrahim Caka turns out to be accused of the murder of Gëzim Alikaj in 2010.

He was even suspected of being a direct executor at the time, after the victim's brother had killed his brother in Spain a few years ago. Elton Hyka and Ardit Spahiu were also involved in the event.

Meanwhile, a few months ago in Belgium, Everest Caka's cousin, Arjan Spahiu, was killed with eight bullets in November 2020. On his part, Arjan Spahiu turns out to have family ties with another notorious crime character in Elbasan, Erion Alibej, who is the brother of his sister's husband.

Today Everest Caka was executed in Elbasan and his wife was also injured during the criminal action.
