Fier Prosecution Seeks 25 Years in Jail for the Perpetrator of a Murder in 2022, 17 year for the Accomplice

Fier Prosecution Office, in cooperation with the judicial police, documented the legal aspects of an incident occurring on July 20, 2022, in "Afrim i Ri" neighborhood of Fier. 
During a sudden conflict, citizens Armando Borici and G.B stabbed citizens Haxhi Balla and Aleks Balla (father and son), resulting in the death of Haxhi Balla due to the inflicted wounds.

In response to this incident, Fier Prosecution Office has initiated criminal case No. 825 of 2022. The citizen Armando Borici is accused of “Murder committed under other qualifying circumstances” against two individuals, as stipulated in Article 79/dh of the Criminal Code. Additionally, there are charges under Articles 76-22-25 of the Criminal Code against the citizen G.B for "Murder with intent " remained in attempt and committed in complicity, to the detriment of citizen A.B. Investigations have been conducted for both defendants, while under the coercive security measures of "Remand in custody," as per Article 238 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Following the standard trial procedures and the thorough judicial scrutiny, the prosecution has sought the following:
1.    Guilty verdict for A.B on the charge of " Murder committed under other qualifying circumstances " against two individuals, to the detriment of H.B and A.B, pursuant to Article 79/dh of the Criminal Code, and his imprisonment of 25 years. 
2.    Guilty verdict for G.B on the charge of "Murder with intent" remained in attempt and committed in complicity, to the detriment of A.B. pursuant to Articles 76-22-25 of the Criminal Code, and his imprisonment of 17 years.
