The long Albanian summer days are slowly coming to an end and the change of the seasons was signaled on Friday morning as the village of Korca, Dardha turned white.

While plenty of grass can still be seen, there is an unmistakable layer of fresh snow on the ground and frosting trees in the area of this village.

Not quite ready for winter yet? According to the meteorologists the snow will continue even on the days to come, while heavier snowfall are expected in the following days of November.
