An operation in Shkodër with the support of FNSH (Rapid Intervention Forces) and RENEA has led to the arrest of two persons, father and son, as well as the prosecution of two others and declaring wanted a fifth person. 

The Director of the Shkodër Local Police Directorate, First Director Hamdi Fjora, at a press conference, for the finalization of the 8th phase of the police mega-operation coded "District". 

In their apartment, 3 remote-controlled landmines, connected by telephone, 8 C4 tritol molds, ready for use, with a total weight of 1 kilogram and 600 grams, detonator capsules connected by wire, 1 shotgun with 2 necklaces and 50 rounds of ammunition, 1 police radio, 1 jammer, 3 cell phones.

It is suspected that the explosive munition would be used in criminal events for the illegal activity of these groups. 

"During the control in the apartment of these citizens, 3 remote control mines, 8 TNT canisters weighing 1600 grams, 1 shotgun, 2 necklaces with cartridges, radios like those of the police and 2 mobile phones were seized. 

Seized weapons will be sent to be examined if they were used in criminal events. In cooperation with the prosecutor's office, the investigation of remote-controlled landmines, which are suspected to be used in criminal events, is continuing," the police stated.
