Four Russian Tourists Die in Albania, Hotel Receptionist's Testimony
Other tragic details come to light regarding the serious event that took place last night in Qerret i Kavajës, where 4 Russian tourists were found dead in the sauna of a hotel.
The tourists had arrived at the hotel only an hour before the incident that led to their death. 4 people had family ties, as they were the couple, Natalia Burenkova, 58, and Sergei Burenkov, 60, as well as their daughter Ekaterina Burenkova, 31, and her husband, Nikita Belousov, 37.
It was one of the hotel receptionists who saw the macabre scene. In his testimony, the receptionist told the investigative team that it was around 22:30 when he went to the sauna area, where the 2 couples were and called them several times to inform them that their drinks and fruits were ready.
"I called several times that the drinks and fruits were ready. After no one answered me I went inside the sauna and saw them all. One was lying on the deck chair, two on the bench and another sitting with his feet on the pool. They were asphyxiated ", this is how the hotel employee is reported to have confessed before investigators.
Preliminary investigations suspect that 4 tourists have been asphyxiated, while other details about the event are expected to be revealed. (Read also)
