Four Russian citizens were found dead at a sauna in a hotel in Qerret of Kavaja this Friday evening. The victims are two men and two women who were found dead in a hotel, police informed.

In a press statement, police said that even the Russian Embassy to Tirana was informed over the tragic event as so far it is known that the four Russian nationals were on vacation in Albania.

"Around 22:20 p.m. in Qerret of Kavaja, in a sauna in a hotel were found the dead bodies of four people with Russian nationality. All of them were asphyxiated," police suspects.

The victims are the citizens with the initials K.S. 31-years-old, N.L. 58-years-old, N.A 37 years-old and S.A. 40-years-old.

More details are expected to be made public on Saturday.
