Valencia has announced the termination of the contract with coach Gennaro Gattuso.

According to the press service of the club, the contract has been terminated by agreement of the parties.

"The club would like to thank the manager for his commitment and work during these months in charge of the first team and wish him the best of luck in the future," Valencia said in a statement.

Gattuso took charge of Valencia in June 2022. This season, the Bats are 14th in the La Liga standings after 18 games, being 1 point away from the relegation zone.
