'Germany, France Made a Mistake Not Allowing Ukraine in NATO'

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba has said that Germany and France made a strategic mistake in not allowing Ukraine to join NATO in 2008.

Kuleba stresses that if Ukraine were a member of NATO, this war would not have happened.

"If we were a member of NATO, this war would not happen. The strategic mistake made in 2008 by Germany and France rejected the efforts of the United States and other allies towards Ukraine, and today the cost is being paid by us and not Germany and France," Kuleba said.
