Greece, Albanian Caught after Escaping Prison
A 48-year-old man of Albanian origin escaped from the custody of the Volos Police, Greece, but his freedom lasted only 4 hours.
According to the local media, as soon as the escape was discovered, the alarm was set for his location, and as a result, he was found about 4 hours later on the 2 November street.
The 48-year-old was convicted of domestic violence. He was in custody as he is being tried in the Criminal Court for various cases, even though he is serving a prison sentence in the prisons of Larissa.
Only last Friday he was sentenced to 18 months probation, after the Criminal Court of Volos found him again guilty of domestic violence, threats, illegal possession of weapons and use of weapons.
The defendant is in custody in Larissa prisons for domestic violence against his wife and father-in-law, and has often disturbed local opinion.
