Greece: Albanians Arrested for Large Amount of Cocaine

Nearly 324 kilograms of cocaine, which amounted to EUR 100 million in the grey market, have been confiscated in Thessaloniki, Greek media reported. 

Three citizens, including two Albanians and a Greek, ended up in the hands of the Greek police, who cooperated in this operation together with the American DEA. 

The arrested had a role in taking cocaine shipments and then trafficking it in Greek territory, Greek media stated, adding that a fourth person has also been declared wanted. 
 

"324 kilograms of pure cocaine, divided into 260 packages, EUR 5,265 and foreign currency related to drug trafficking, 5 cell phones they used for their communications and a laptop computer," the Greek Police announced, according to neighboring media.
