The Head of the National Food Authority, Edmond Rrushi resigned this Wednesday.

The news was made public by the local media, while at the same time the name of the successor was also announced. 

He will be Olsi Komici, former commissioner of the vetting process, in the Independent Qualification Committee.

So far, it was learned that Rrushi will run for Member of Parliament on the elections of May 11.
