Heavy rains during the last hours of this Monday have caused floods in many areas of Albania. The Ministry of Defence has made a report on the current situation throughout the territory. 

In some national roads there have been stones falling, especially in the axis Tamarë-Qafa e Bërdalecit or in the axis Librazhd-Zgosht. 

There were problems in the region of Dibra, where as a result of heavy rainfall and water inflows, the Kaça Bridge was damaged, which became impassable. In this area, about 10 families are isolated and do not communicate with the village center. 

Notification of the Ministry of Defence: 

Tirana district. As a result of the rain, there was water in the street "5 Maji", where some apartments were endangered. The working teams of the municipality of Tirana are trying to normalize the situation. 

In the place called the Macedonian Bridge, Rrogozhina municipality, Shkumbin River has increased inflows and the river has started to overflow. Representatives of the municipality of Rrogozhina and the Prefect of Tirana region Mr. Afrim Qëndro went to the scene. The situation is being monitored. 

Shkodër Region. There was moderate rain. In the road axis Tamarë- Qafa e Bërdalecit there was a fall of stones and inert. The contracting firm has worked to clean it up. 

Durrës Region. As a result of high intensity rainfall there is a swelling of the Erzen River in the Sukth area. The situation is being monitored by the Prefect of Durrës district. 

Dibër County. In the village of Vinjoll, Lis administrative unit, the Kaçë Bridge was damaged, which was hijacked by gravel flows and became impassable. About 10 families are isolated and can not communicate with the village center or the center of the administrative unit. 

Elbasan County. As a result of the ongoing rains and large water inflows, there is an outflow of water from the Gurra stream in the administrative unit Shushica and an outflow of the river Shkumbin in Malasej, administrative unit Gjergjan, municipality of Elbasan, where almost 1 ha of agricultural land are under water. In the road axis Librazhd-Zgosht there was a fall of stones on the road. No problems have been reported from other parts of the country due to weather conditions. 

All structures, both local and central, call on the residents of the areas where problems have arisen, to be careful and guarantee that they are following the situation and in full readiness to come to the aid in any case.
