Hundreds in Line as Buses Were Reduced with 50%
The increase of fuel prices is causing chain effects in the Albanian economy. The Association of the Urban Transport warned to reduce more the number of busses in circulation as the new crisis is bringing them to bankruptcy as just a day ago they reduced with 50%.
Hundreds of citizens were waiting for a bus this Wednesday morning as the effects of the drastic decision were immediately reflected to the citizens who use bus to move nationwide.
"Our costs go up to ALL 25 millions per day. We all were neglected by government. We urged for help but no one listened to us. We will have to find new solutions in order to not increase the price of the bus tickets again," said the representative of the Association.
