Ibrahim Lici Denies Allegations about his Arrest in Turkey

In a reaction to the media from Turkey, Ibrahim Lici rejected the news that circulated on the network that he was arrested by the police in recent days. He declares, among other things, that he has not been arrested and that he lives freely.

Lici also dismissed the suspicions raised against him for the murder of Endri Mustafa in Shkodër, stating that the security cameras and cell phones prove, according to him, that he was in Tirana at the time of the murder.

Ibrahim Lici has been declared an international wanted by the Albanian authorities since May of last year after the execution of Endri Mustafa.

Here is Lici's full statement from Turkey:

"I am free. I have not been arrested. Regarding the incident for which I am accused of murdering Endri Mustafa, I handed over the cameras to the prosecutor's office and the phone cells that prove that I was in Tirana at the time the crime took place.

This is verified by video and cell phones.

I am waiting for the court's decision to clarify the incident and bring the real perpetrators to justice. Even for the murder of the Bilali brothers, I was never under investigation by the prosecutor's office and I was wanted by the police, that is, wanted by the police as a person to be questioned, only because I was not found in the apartment.

I have never had a conflict with the Bilali brothers. It is very strange to request my extradition at a time when I have not been arrested and I call on the police to come out in a statement about where and when I was arrested because I am free and awaiting trial. I live freely in Turkey and I am waiting for the incident to be revealed."

Endri Mustafa was executed in a macabre way in the middle of May 2021. Mustafa, a father of three children, was found near the shore of Lake Shkodra, in a place known as the Livadhe area. He was killed with 6 bullets, one in the mouth, two others in the head and 3 in the chest. From the examination of the body, it is suspected that he was first assaulted and then shot with a firearm. The dead body was found three days after the mysterious disappearance of the 31-year-old was reported.
