IKMT Plans Demolition Action in Valias

National Inspectorate for Protection of the Territory (IKMT) has started the action in Valias area of Kamza to demolish 12 buildings damaged by the earthquake of November 26, which are classified as uninhabitable and dangerous for the residents. 

Five 2-storey buildings, six 3-storey buildings, and a 4-story building are programmed to be demolished by IKMT. IKMT says that this action will pave the way for the construction of new facilities for the affected residents. 

"IKMT to demolish 12 buildings in Valias, damaged by the earthquake. 

IKMT has launched an action in Valias, where 12 former residential buildings will be demolished. The buildings have been declared uninhabitable and dangerous for residents, following the November 26 earthquake last year. 

There are five 2-storey buildings, six 3-storey buildings and a 4-storey building that will be demolished by IKMT, to pave the way for the construction of new facilities for residents," IKMT informed.
