Elena Pici has resigned Thursday from her position as General Secretary of the Ministry of Interior. 

Reason for the resignation was the debate on the Decision of the Council of Ministers on unauthorized constructions, as reported. 

Meanwhile, it is officially said that Pici left for personal reasons, while the truth turns out to be quite different. 

However, Elena Pici was appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior on September 18, 2020, after about two years she resigned from this position.
