Incident Inside DP's Headquarters
The leader of the group "December '90" Bislim Ahmetaj denounced this Monday from the blue headquarters the closing of the door to the office, an act that according to him was taken after this group greeted the Assembly held by former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha on December 11.
Ahmetaj says they had to open by force the front door to come out, while emphasizing that the December 18 referendum called by Berisha will end the dilemma of holding the keys to the DP.
"We are in front of you for an unusual event. I had called the Steering Committee of the group "December 90" for a meeting in our office at the headquarters of the DP, an office we have had for 25 years. Today we found ourselves in front of an event of little people, the doors were closed. We went inside from the main headquarters, and the inner door was also closed. They locked the doors and left us inside the office, they had changed the two locks on the other doors. I call it a low gesture. I called the service people and they told me we do not know anything. It's something invented outside of service personnel. It lowers, even more, the value and the minimum reputation that an ordinary person can have.
As soon as Basha went upstairs the door closed on us. The last meeting in the DP was 10 days ago. The purpose of today's meeting was to greet the extraordinary Assembly of December 11 that accepted us as a partner organization. The referendum puts an end to the dilemmas of holding the keys. Holding the keys means doing low actions. It is only appropriate for the people behind the bars," Ahmetaj told the media.
