State police have stepped up measures in Tirana to ensure road security over the weekend, using the intelligent device and the night radars. During Friday night, controls were exercised with radars, drones, cameras and cars not loaded on the national axes and inhabited centers all over the country. 

During the inspections, 193 speeding violations were found, ranging from 147 km / h to 158 km / h.

The Operational Unit of the Traffic Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Tirana Traffic Police, continues the controls with the intelligent device and the night radars, identifying and punishing those drivers who circulate at speeds above the allowed norms, without putting on the seat belt, which make incorrect overtaking or use the mobile phone while driving. 

During the last hours, on the streets of the capital and on the interurban roads Tirana-Durrës-Tirana, Tirana-Elbasan-Tirana, from the intelligent device and the radar "Patrol" were found 193 violations for speed, ranging from 147 km / h to 158 km / h. 

From the verification performed by the operators who fulfill the administrative measures sent to the server, it resulted that 64 of them were with the additional measure of suspension of the driving license, as they were moving at speeds from 60 to 70 km / h above the allowed norm. 

During the verification, it turned out that 87 of them, in addition to speed, had also used their mobile phones while driving, while 49 others had not fastened their seat belts. 

The State Police, wishing you a good weekend, appeals to all road users to strictly respect the rules of the road and invites citizens to report to the number 112 and the Digital Commissariat, any violation of the Road Code, guaranteeing complete anonymity and quick and professional response.
