Italian authorities have arrested a young Albanian man who robbed a bar on the coast in the Piazza Lemmetti area, the Italian media reported Monday.

The information at hand suggests that the Albanian, after entering the premises of the bar, went to the cash register and stole 300 EUR and alcoholic beverages worth 1.000 EUR.

The owner immediately approached the bar, but was threatened by the Albanian thief, forcing him to bring more bottles of alcoholic beverages.

Even a security guard intervened to catch the young Albanian, but he was punched in the face and head and then taken to hospital due to his injuries.

Afterwards, the police forces intervened and made possible the arrest of the Albanian a few meters from the bar.

Meanwhile, work is underway to identify other collaborators with the Albanian youth.
