Italy Disturbed by Aftershocks after Powerful Earthquake

For two days, Italy seems not to find peace. The day before, it was hit by a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7, which was accompanied by several aftershocks.

Meanwhile, two more earthquakes occurred this Thursday in the Rimini area, one with a magnitude of 4.5 and the other with a magnitude of 3.2.

The earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5, occurred at 13.35 with an epicenter on the coast of Ancona in the Marche region at a depth of 9 kilometers.

Seismic vibrations at sea continue in front of the coast of Marche, especially in Pesaro and other earthquakes moved further south before those in the province of Ancona, some of which are clearly perceptible in other centers of Marche and Romagna.

The most recent magnitude 3.4 was recorded at 10:08 in the same area, off the coast between Marotta di Mondolfo and Fano (Pesaro Urbino), and at the same depth as yesterday's strongest earthquake of magnitude 5.5 followed a minute later by a 5.2 'aftershock' closer to the coast of Ancona.

According to the data of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, the other most important tremors that have occurred since last night were one with a magnitude of 3.5 at 23:05 yesterday and another with a magnitude of 2.7 at 00:15 and 2.8 from 2:43, all with a hypocenter between 8 and 4 km deep and an epicenter about 30 km from Fano (Pesaro and Urbino).
