The Special Prosecution against Corruption (SPAK) made a public statement Monday over the arrest of the former socialist Member of Parliament, Jurgis Çyrbja.

According to SPAK, he reported to the criminal gangs of Shijak, specifically Altin Hajri for the police operations in Durresi area, so he can flee.

From the investigations realized, resulted that Çyrbja communicated through “Sky ECC” app with persons who were declared wanted by police and he is under accuse for seven criminal offenses. 

From the analysis of the acts administered there are reasonable suspicions based on evidence that public officials (unidentified until this stage of the investigation), contrary to the regular fulfillment of their duties in 7 cases, have discovered acts which the law defines as state secrets, since their contents result in the knowledge of the person under investigation Jurgis Çyrbja.
