The Kalimash Tunnel in Albania is safe and passable this Tuesday after worrying situation created just a day ago due to wildfires. The Head of State, Ilir Meta announced that the road is open as he tried it this early morning.

The President thanked the Kosovo Forces and those of Kukesi who made possible the road to be safe for all those who use it.

"Kalimash tunnel is safe and passable. A special thank you to the firefighters from Kukesi and Kosovo who are still working to manage and control flames in the area of Rrunja and protect the property and citizens' lives," said Meta.
