Kamza Kidnapping, SPAK Sends Altin Hajri on Trial
Special Prosecution against Organized Crime and Corruption (SPAK) has closed the investigations and has sent the owner of the "Golden" complex in Shijak Altin Hajri for trial following investigations related to the kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga in Kamza.
In SPAK’s announcement, it is stated that Hajri is accused of 5 different criminal offenses, such as from kidnapping and holding a person hostage, structured criminal group or even committing criminal offenses within a criminal organization.
Moreover, the Special Prosecution informed that investigations related to this issue are ongoing.
Earlier on, SPAK filed charges against Dritan Rexhepi, Gentjan Funiq, Martin Bleta, Korado Kështenja, Artan Doçaj, Aldo Majnishte and Geraldo Martini for the kidnapping of Jan Prenga.

“Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime in the continuation of the investigations carried out in connection with criminal proceedings no. 62, of 2020, for which the defendants Dritan Rexhepi, Gentjan Funiqi, Martin Bleta, Korado Keshteja, Artan Doçaj, Aldo Majnishta have been requested to be sent for trial before the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime and Geraldo Martini, has completed the investigations and has requested that the case be sent for trial also for the defendant Altin Hajri accused of committing criminal offenses:
"Kidnapping or holding a person hostage" when the death provided for by articles 109, third paragraph and 28/4 of the Criminal Code is caused;
"Unauthorized possession of combat weapons", provided by articles 278 first paragraph and 28/4 of the Criminal Code;
"Hiding and disposing of the corpse", provided by articles 303 and 28/4 of the Criminal Code;
"Structured criminal group", provided by article 333a/2 of the Criminal Code;
"Commitment of criminal offenses by criminal organizations and structured criminal groups", provided by Article 334/1 of the Criminal Code.
The defendant Altin Hajri, owner of the "Golden" complex located in Shijak, is accused of being a participant in the structured criminal group that carried out the kidnapping of the citizen Jan Prenga, an event that occurred on 17.01.2020 in Kamëz, Tirana
Investigations continue regarding the identification, collection and securing of evidence for other persons involved in this incident", underlined SPAK.
