Kosovo Opposition Accuses Kurti of 'Secret Agreement' with Vucic

The chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, has accused this Thursday the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, of a secret agreement with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, to remove the barricades.

At the press conference, he said that in exchange for the removal of the barricades, the government released former Serbian policeman Dejan Pantic, who is suspected of terrorism.

"It is evident that Prime Minister Albin Kurti had a secret agreement with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, for the removal of the barricades, agreeing to the release of Dejan Pantic, accused of terrorism.

But besides him, others have been released, as well as Nikolla Nedelkovic", Krasniqi emphasized.

He accused the government of amnestying criminal groups in the north.

"It is obvious that there are secret negotiations. The release of Pantic and Nedelkovic yesterday was not a coincidence, neither was the amnesty of criminal groups, the agreement of this government to release the bandits of our country and not pursue them, because it seems that this was an atonement for the removal of the barricades", said Krasniqi.

Krasniqi accused Kurti of "political immaturity".

"The wrong approach in relation to international partners and, above all, his irresponsibility to fulfill his legal and constitutional obligations, have brought a shameful situation for our country, where the president of Serbia is telling us from Rashka how and what he wants to happen in the north of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo", said Krasniqi.
