Kosovo Police Reacts after Bomb Alarm in Airport
After carrying out the control in the facilities and spaces of the "Adem Jashari" International Airport in Prishtina, it has been found that there are no explosive devices, and that the threat with explosive devices was a false alarm with certain goals.
"Following the completion of the control and works by the relevant institutions, the operation and traffic at the airport has returned to normality, therefore we thank the citizens for the understanding and cooperation shown with the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo," says the announcement of the Police.
The staff of the Pristina airport has now been invited to go inside to continue the work. Even the citizens have now started entering the airport.
Otherwise, due to a threat with explosive devices, the international airport "Adem Jashari" in Pristina was temporarily closed this Wednesday.
