Mayor of Kurbin, Majlinda Cara, has thanked Monday the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who handed over to the people of Laç the keys to the new houses built as a gift by the Turkish government after the earthquake of November 26, 2019.

In her speech, Cara said that not only Laci but the whole of Kurbin is re-emerging stronger in the example of a city worthy of living here and raising children, but will also be an example for other cities for its transformation.

Furthermore, the Mayor underlined that Albanian citizens should feel proud for having real friends like President Erdogan who did not leave them alone when they needed it the most.

Today, after 2 years, is the moment to leave those days behind and say that we were hit hard, we fell, but we knew how to recover even stronger.

To feel comfortable having real friends like President Erdogan who did not leave us alone when we needed it most.

Let us feel proud of the government and Prime Minister Rama who, in addition to numerous works and commitments, is leading the complex reconstruction program every day.

While I am very proud of everything that is being done not only in Lac but in all of Kurbin, which is not only rebuilding stronger and more beautiful in the example of a city worthy of living here and raising our children, but why not it will also be an example for other cities for its complete transformation.

In addition to the completion of this magnificent neighborhood funded by the Turkish government in Lac, work is underway and the reconstruction of a neighborhood with 200 apartments is being completed. root in infrastructure.

Very happy for all those families who have regained their optimism and will live in these apartments incomparable to what they had before and will use the facilities of this residential complex.

The Albanian government has also financed the construction of a new school that will serve not only the children living here but the entire city.
