Prime Minister Edi Rama will gather this Friday in Durrës the mayors and leaders of the Socialist Party (SP) in Albania's districts. 

Albaniandailynews.com has learned that the meeting will be held this Friday and Saturday and the focus of the talks will be the 2023 local elections. 

On Monday morning, the head of the government met informally with the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, where the focus of the conversation was this spring's elections. 

In the days that followed during this week, President Begaj also met with the heads of the Parliamentary Groups to discuss the date of the local elections, 2023. 

In meeting, the Head of State received in meeting also Oerd Bylykbashi on behalf of the Reestablishment group in the Democratic Party.
