Majority, Opposition ‘Join Forces’ to Pass Deals with UK

Two agreements with the United Kingdom regarding the extradition of illegal immigrants and convicts were approved in the Assembly on Thursday.

Agreement on the admission of illegal immigrants was approved by 82 votes, while only 2 Members of Parliament abstained.

Meanwhile, the agreement on the extradition of convicted persons to Great Britain was passed with 95 votes in favor and none against.

What is noticed is that along with the majority, the opposition MPs also agreed with these agreements.
