McGonigal's Ex-Girlfriend Talks About Ex-FBI Official's Relation with Rama

The issue of the McGonigal scandal is covered every day in the American media. This time, his ex-girlfriend, Allison Guerriero, gave another interview to "One America News", where she talks, among other things, about the former FBI agent's relationship with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

According to her, the phone calls and messages between Rama and McGonigal were daily, while he sent photos to his girlfriend when he was meeting with Prime Minister Rama.

Among other things, Guerriero says that "Edi Rama is probably the most corrupt politician I have heard of".

-It has also been reported about Charles' business in Albania...

Guerriero: I wrote: what the hell is he doing in Albania, giving FBI resources to the prime minister of that country.

-Prime Minister Rama?

Guerriero: Prime Minister Rama. I tweeted this but quickly deleted a photo of Charles with Prime Minister Rama.

-Allison, what do you know about his business dealings in Albania at that time?

Guerriero: I thought that they are a NATO allied country, I felt that they were coming to the FBI so it would help them root out corruption. But it turns out that Charles, after reading the indictment, had no intention of rooting out corruption. I mean, Edi Rama is probably the most corrupt politician I've heard of.

-According to the documents, he made several trips to Albania to help Prime Minister Edi Rama, including in September 2017. You were together at that time...

Guerriero: We were. He called and texted me every day.

-Although this trip was partly about the FBI and its mission, it had an unofficial purpose, to help Prime Minister Edi Rama attack opponents, and McGonigal was very involved in this…

Guerriero: You know, I don't know the extent of this implication, it will appear in court.

-But in the period of 2017 when you wrote and received messages you had no…

Guerriero: No sign. He used to send me photos from Kosovo when he was there. He sent me pictures from the hotel, which was very modern. He said that there is a lot of noise and he couldn't sleep, things like that. He would send me photos and write "look, this is the prime minister of Albania".
