Ministry Provides Information Regarding Movements to Greece

Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has provided this Saturday information regarding the movements from Albania to Greece during the period 1-15 September 2020. 

It is informed that for another 14 days, from September 1-15, 2020, the entry restriction for Albanian citizens for tourism reasons remains in force. Restriction of sea and air connections with Albania and North Macedonia also remains in force. Thus, flights are made only from the airport "Eleftherios Venizelos". 

Meanwhile, the number of quotas that is in the customs of Kakavija 750 people and Kapshtica 300 people will as well remain in force together with Covid-19 test, 72 hours before arrival in the country, for persons arriving at the airport and from border points.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs announces the regime of movement from Albania to the Greek for the period 1 - 15 September 2020, in the framework of measures against Covid-19, as follows: 

- For another 14 days, from 1-15 September 2020, the entry restriction for Albanian citizens for tourism reasons remains in force; 

- Restriction of sea and air connections with Albania and North Macedonia remains in force. Thus, flights to / from these countries are made only from "Eleftherios Venizelos" airport; 

- The limitation on the number of persons entering per day from Kakavija (750 people) and Kapshtica (300 people) remains in force; 

- The application of preliminary checks through the negative PCR test 72 hours before arrival in the country, for persons arriving at the airport and from land points from Albania, remains in force until 19.09.2020.
