More Pressure Needed to Reach Pensions' Deal with Greece; Braçe
The MP of the Socialist Party, Erion Braçe emphasized that maximum pressure should be put on the Greek authorities for the recognition of the social contributions of the Albanians who work in the neighbouring country.
During his speech in the Parliament, he emphasized that Greece is not taking the step of recognizing social contributions so that immigrants can get back what they are entitled to.
"Contractual obligations are delayed, the law is working but not in the dimensions we expected from this hall. The law is not working with tax bills. There are collectors issuing hand bills and not paying farmers as we speak. Fiscal authorities must act to do their duty in accordance with the law on contractual obligations. The law on the protection of agricultural land prohibits the use of fire. Today in the villages, even where there are bins, products and garbage are still being burned. By-laws are needed regarding the burning of agricultural products.
The price of inputs has fallen in international markets but not in our markets because the cartel of agricultural inputs continues.
Greece is not taking the step of recognizing social contributions. The pressure on the Greek authorities should be maximum so that the immigrants get back what they are entitled to", emphasized Braçe.
