Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama has spoken about the airports this Tuesday, assuring that most likely that of Kukës will be opened for international flights in the spring. 

Rama says that regarding the Vlora airport, the offers in the reopened international competition are expected to come in the first half of January, and if everything goes well then in the summer the construction site is set up. 

"I believe that Kukës airport will be opened for international flights in the spring. I wish and pray to God that the last obstacle for Vlora airport is overcome, and in the first half of January we will have the offers for the reopened international competition. We hope to establish the construction site within the summer which will guarantee the big international airport of southern Albania. 

After Vlora, it is Saranda Airport's turn. We will have the 4 airports necessary to properly develop tourism and to properly enter the new decade of the century," Rama emphasized.
