As June 1, Children's Day, is a school day for children, but it is also a working day for their parents, the official opening of the new Zoo in Tirana will take place on Saturday, June 4th. 

The news was given by the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who invited the children to take their parents and grandparents and become part of the holiday at the weekend.

"Are you ready for the new Zoo? On Saturday, June 4th, since it is the weekend and we all have a holiday, take your parents, grandmother, grandfather or a friend, and let us all see the wonderful animals together. We will learn a lot of new things, but we will also play. I look forward to seeing you ", writes Veliaj. 

The Tirana Zoo underwent a complete transformation. The kindergarten offers spaces for services and facilities necessary for visitors, recreational environments where green spaces predominate, as well as playgrounds for children, but there are also educational facilities for students and pupils who study especially the animal world.
