No COVID-19 Test for Albanians Entering Kosovo

Kosovo Minster of Health, Armend Zemaj announced this Wednesday that Albanians citizens entering Kosovo are not obliged to have done the COVID-19 test.

This news was given by Kosovo Minister after the meeting with Albanian Ambassador to Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi, following the high rate of coronavirus infection in Albania.

"I just met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Kosovo, Mr. Qemal Minxhozi, to whom I confirmed that the citizens of the Republic of Albania entering the territory of the Republic of Kosovo are not required to take the COVID-19 test. 


The decision of the Government of Kosovo is based on the principle of reciprocity. As a result, testing is not required from the citizens of Kosovo and Albania, nor from our fellow citizens from the Presevo Valley. 
 

Together with Ambassador Minxhozi, we pledged to continue the close cooperation between the two countries!" informed Minister Zemaj.
