Marklen Haka, one of those arrested by RENEA action across Albania during the last 24 hours is a name known to justice. 

In September 2019, he escaped an assassination attempt at the door of his house where his aunt Shpresa Basha died. Marklen Haka, managed to escape, with only a bullet in the arm. 

The assassins had been able to enter the depths of the village of Zeza in Fushë-Krujë, where members of the Haka family live in complete secrecy and undetected by anyone.

Marklen Haka had been arrested earlier for a murder that took place in June 2011 in the area of ??the former Bloc in Tirana, but was released due to lack of evidence.
