All individuals involved in corruption with the money aimed at overcoming earthquake damages will be held accountable, the Chairman of Democratic Party (DP) Lulzim Basha promised Monday.

DP’s Chair noted that the corrupted persons get rich but the citizens affected by the earthquake still live in emergency tents as he visited the latter in Manza town of Durres. Basha accused the government of continuing to steal funds and of leaving the ordinary people in full poverty.

“All those who have done corruption with the earthquake money will go out before responsibility. They will be held responsible before the law. They live rich while you live in tents.

They have given millions to 5 oligarchs and have left the Albanians in misery. They continue to steal the aids. Do not expect any solution with this government. I come to see today, but when we are in government, of priority will be you and all your families”, emphasized Basha.
