PM Explains Why Merged Economy with Culture in One Ministry

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a press conference from Shengjin, after the government meeting, has shown the reasons why he merged Economy with Culture and Innovation in one ministry.

Rama said that the merger of three ministries into one was not done to remove Minister Elva Margariti from the Ministry of Culture, but according to him, to build a new structure that is related to the needs of the country.

The head of the government said that the sector that covers the economy needs a new strong impetus, because there are a number of challenges that need special attention, such as Innovation.

"The new ministry was not created to remove Margariti, but to build a new structure, and to deal with the country's need to move faster by breaking traditional borders. At a time when our economy, the institutional sector that covers the economy, needs a new strong impetus because there are a number of challenges that need special attention. Innovation needs a leadership and a direction that no one else can do like the Ministry of Economy, which must support it.

One of the most serious problems has been secularization, we have had a secularized government and the victim of this weak state culture is innovation. Digitalization has been invested before, but closed systems that do not communicate with each other have been created. Parliament was slammed for being a digital kiosk, out of the system. In the conditions of this era that has even brought the cyber war," Rama said.
