PM Rama's Message before NATO Members' Meet in Skopje

Prime Minister Rama is on an official visit to Skopje on Wednesday, to participate in the meeting of the leaders of the five NATO member countries from Southeast Europe.

In his welcoming speech a few minutes before the start of the meeting, Rama congratulated the Albanians of North Macedonia on Alphabet Day in Albanian.

Focusing on the geopolitical situation, Rama expressed gratitude for the attention being given to the region for the protection and preservation of fragile peace, at a time of wars and serious crises.

"First of all, let me wish you in the Albanian language to all the Albanians here in North Macedonia on the blessed day of the Alphabet, and on the other hand, I am very glad that today we are gathered here at a moment of wars and serious crises that have the potential to directly endanger our country.

At a moment when here in the region we all have to focus on protecting and preserving what we have achieved, which is not a little but a fragile peace, but a peace nonetheless. Let's put our efforts to make this final and sociable peace", said Rama.
