Police of Milano Arrests Albanian and Romanian with 90 kg of Marijuana in the Truck

As part of a targeted service in theBergamo hinterland, where arrests and seizures have already been made in the past, precisely in the area of Brignano Gera d'Adda (BG), the agents of the Flying Squad of the Police Headquarters di Milano they noticed a car approach a parked semi-trailer and hand over large plastic bags to two men, before hastily driving away.

Soon after, the two men entered the tarpaulin trailer of the truck where they remained for several minutes: judged the suspicious conduct, the officers decided to proceed with the check of the truck with Romanian license plates and the two men, a Romanian citizen and an Albanian citizen, both with no criminal record.

Having entered the tarpaulin trailer, the police officers found the large bag that had been delivered shortly before by the man on board the car and a portion of the floor of the articulated lorry without screws.

It was immediately clear that the two were accessing a hidden compartment to take something to put in that bag: in fact, by dismantling all the floorboards of the trailer, the agents of the Milan Flying Squad found numerous packages of marijuana for a total weight of approx 90 kg.

In the engineFurthermore, they were over 20 thousand euros in cash found in banknotes of different denominations, likely proceeds of the illicit activity.

I two foreign citizens they were then arrested for possession for the purpose of dealing of the huge quantity of narcotic substance and associated with the Bergamo prison at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
