Presidency Reveals Details from Security Council Meeting
President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, called a meeting of the National Security Council this Monday. In a press release, the press office of the Presidency says that it was discussed in detail about the cyber attacks of the last few months, the level of damage to state electronic systems and the measures that have been taken and are being taken by the responsible structures.
According to the announcement, "The National Security Council confirmed that the close international cooperation with all partner countries, NATO, and the EU should continue, with the aim of increasing the defensive, counter-active and preventive capacities and the non-repetition of such attacks in the future".

The President of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Bajram Begaj called the meeting of the National Security Council today.
The cyber attacks of the last few months, the level of infringement of state electronic systems and the measures that have been taken and are being taken by the responsible structures were the subject of detailed discussions at the meeting of the National Security Council.
During the discussions, it was emphasized that the malicious attacks, sponsored by the government of Iran, should bring together all the institutional, political and social actors to analyse the situation of electronic systems and treat the cyber security of all the country's critical infrastructure as an element essential to our national security.
Ministers and senior representatives of the responsible institutions reported on the analysis of the situation so far, the plans and measures that are being taken to address the deficiencies observed in infrastructure and capacities.
In particular, it was appreciated that the support provided by the United States of America and various American agencies, which have worked and are working with our agencies, has been essential for the identification of the typology of cyber aggression and our response.
The National Security Council confirmed that the close international cooperation with all partner countries, NATO, and the EU should continue, with the aim of increasing defensive, counteractive and preventive capacities and not repeating such attacks in the future.
