President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has condemned the kidnapping of three Kosovo policemen by Serbian forces. 

In his statement, the Head of State called on Kosovo not to fall prey to the provocations and to work on de-escalating the situation. 

"Abduction of three Kosovo Police officers inside Kosovar territory by Serbian troops is a serious provocative act for the destabilization of Kosovo and the entire region. 

I strongly condemn this act and call on the Serbian authorities to release the Kosovar officers. calling on international partners to intervene and discourage other similar actions. 

I make a fraternal call again to the Kosovo authorities not to fall prey to provocations and to give their contribution to censuring the situation. Coordination with the US and the EU for the return to the dialogue table is very important", underlined President Begaj.
