Chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha has published a video from Covid hospitals, which, according to him, shows that Prime Minister Edi Rama has lost control of the pandemic situation.

Video published by Basha has in focus to prove DP's claims that the Covid hospital capacities have been exhausted and patients are being treated in ambulances, which was categorically refuted by PM Rama, who has emphasized that Covid hospitals are far from collapsing as DP says.

"As he has done for these 8 years, Rama deals only with propaganda. If he had spent 10% of his time on Instagram, to do the job of the prime minister, we would not be in this situation today. He has lost control of the pandemic. Because of him, hundreds of Albanians have lost their lives during pandemic and infections are increasing daily. 

Rama has no plan to help people. Hospitals, doctors and nurses are overcrowded and patients stay for hours in ambulances. The government hides the real numbers of victims and infected. The number of tests is the lowest in Europe, people wait for weeks for a response and the bill for drugs and treatment is unaffordable. 

Rama is lying because he did not take any measures to face the second wave. He lies because even in times of pandemics he took the Albanian tax money for concessions and tenders of his friends. After destroying the economy, Rama is destroying people's lives and health. 

Together we have the strength to defeat this evil, and to bring the hope and future that every Albanian wants," Basha stated.
