Journalist and "Great Master" Bedri Alimehmeti has passed away at the age of 78. With his pen, the great master Alimehmeti enriched the art of Albanian country with history, stories and poetry. Alimehmeti was born in 1945 in Tirana. Among other things, he has published stories such as "Bloody Tirana", about the extrajudicial executions that took place in Tirana in October-November 1944. 

"Massacre of communist terror in Tirana, October 28, 1944-November 16, 1944" (Tirana, 2001); "Skënder Halili: the twinkling of a star" (Tirana, 2008), "Shyqyri Rreli: a life for Albanian football" (Tirana, 2010). 

There have been many of his publications on the sports field, leaving behind generations as stories of the successes of sportsmen who had no other window of promotion apart from his pen.
