Sali Berisha Re-elected Chair of DP with 99% of Votes

Sali Berisha returns to lead the Democratic Party after nine years. He was re-elected this Sunday with 99% of the votes of democrats in a race with only one candidate, Ibsen Elezi.

At the end of counting process, Berisha traveled towards the Party's headquarters where it is expected to announce the victory. Dozens of democrats are travelling too towards the party in order to celebrate the re-election of their historical leader.

Berisha was declared non-grata last year by the US Department of State and his removal by the Parliamentary group from former leader Basha, caused angry and ambitious to regain the DP.
