A 77-year-old man has been found dead in the waters of the Drini i Zi river, in Surroj village of Kukës this Tuesday morning. 

Initial observations of the dead body have raised suspicions that the victim may have drowned accidentally, as no signs of violence were found on him. 

On its part, the police is working on clarifying the circumstances of the incident, as it revealed that the deceased suffered from sclerosis

"Kukës - In the waters of the Drini i Zi river, in the village of Surroj, the dead body of the citizen A. S., 77 years old, was found on Monday. 

It is known that the old man suffered from sclerosis. During the examination by the forensic expert, the police say that no signs of violence were found on the body of the 77-year-old. 

From the entirety of the investigative actions, it is suspected that he drowned accidentally", said the police.
