Sokol Çelaj, 60-year-old, was killed with a Kalashnikov at around 22:50 last night in the village of Reç in the Malësia e Madhe. It is learned that the victim died at the hospital. 

He was shot with a Kalashnikov about 5-6 times, while traveling on the "Benz" model car towards his house. Çelaj was accompanied by his wife at the time of the assassination, who fortunately escaped the bullets. In her testimony to the police, the wife stated that a person came in front of them with a Kalashnikov and shot at them. 

The wife said she could not identify the perpetrator because of the darkness. Shkodra Police has launched an investigation to fully clarify the circumstances of this event, while the security cameras of businesses in the area are being seized, to see the movements that were made shortly before the event. 

The victim has been an immigrant in England for several years, while for 3 years he has returned to his homeland and worked in some of the restaurants in the area of ​​Malësia e Madhe.
